General Motors Co. has consented to give 25% pay increments to United Auto Workers members in their continuous agreement talks, matching a similar proposal by Ford Motor Co. to end the six-week strike, as per individuals acquainted with the conversations.
The proposal also includes cost-of-living increases over more-than-four-year contract. The full agreement has not settled at this point, and the different sides keep on examining subtleties, including how to deal with transitory specialists, individuals said.
